Propecia is used to treat the type of male pattern baldness, when men lose hair at the crown of the head and in the middle of the scalp. In this case men may face their hair become thinner, and as a result they suffer from a receding hairline on the scalp and hairless top of the head.

How Taken
Propecia is for adult men use only. Women and children should not take this drug. You should take Propecia with a full glass of water with or without food, directly as your doctor prescribed. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's too close to the time of the next dose, just skip it and go back to your ordinary schedule. In general you'll notice vivid results from the treatment after 3 months of the drug use. If you stop to use the drug, you'll go back to the stage as it was before treatment within 12 months.

Drug Class and Mechanism
Propecia works by reducing the amount of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) hormone, thus stimulating the regrowth of hair on the head of a man. Propecia doesn't influence on the hair growth on any other part of the body.
